Environmental Design

Spatial and environmental design are essential to creating fully immersive brand experiences that resonate with both audience and consumer. I approach every project holistically—considering scale, texture, movement, and context—to shape environments that elevate the consumer experience, engage emotion, influence behavior, and leave a lasting impression while authentically extending the brand’s identity.

Arrowhead Center, NMSU environmental design

Scope of work: To revamp, redesign, incorporate branding from NMSU and align to visually to Arrowhead Center’s style guide and branding. I led the curation, direction, and design of the Arrowhead Center lobby, ensuring alignment with NMSU brand standards while enhancing the overall spatial experience. The space was intentionally designed to be welcoming and functional for clients, alumni, and partners, supporting high-profile meetings and events and reinforcing Arrowhead Center’s position as a key hub within NMSU.

Materials consisted of 1/4” plexiglass mounted with 1.5” gap between wall and artwork. Individual plexiglass pieces were installed with nickel-plated satin finished spacers with a satin finished vinyl adhered to the top of the plexiglass. Artwork located behind the reception area was produced and cut on a CNC machine and installed with 1/2” wall mounts behind each piece.

Exterior Signage in collaboration with NMSU/DACC and Arrowhead Park

New Mexico State University and Arrowhead Park collaborated on a critical installation to attract attention from the interstate and maintain visibility locally. My role consisted of artwork creation for Arrowhead Park, Arrowhead Center, and The Hunt Center for Entrepreneurship logos in collaboration with the signage developer. Signs were produced with the vendor and installed using the surrounding landscape to bring local and regional visual elements together. All signage is also visible in the evening with back lit lights and internal light systems.
