Carino, by Gold 'N Hot: Belson Products High-end Salon line

Scope of Work: Carino by Gold ’N Hot draws inspiration from Italy’s legacy of precision, speed, and style. Creative direction began with a minimal, high-performance packaging concept influenced by Italian design and luxury performance vehicles. Using a refined Italian flag color palette, the design highlights product features through clean typography and structure. Spot gloss UV over silk varnish and a non-corrugated box add depth and tactility, delivering a modern, premium presence. The launch drove high-volume SKU sales and strong retail impact.

In collaboration and direction with Arturo Bejarano as Creative Director, Peter Knapp led art direction, graphic design, production, and photography, shaping the visual narrative through execution. Peter guided creative strategy, design systems, and on-set photography direction to ensure a cohesive, high-impact outcome aligned with brand and production goals.

InfraRed: by Gold 'N Hot: Belson Products Professional Technology-driven Salon line

Scope of Work: A new technology was introduced other than the Belson professional hair product line, and I led a team of designers in developing concepts centered on high-heat infrared innovation. Futurism drove the creative direction, translating advanced technology into a refined, salon-driven consumer experience. The InfraRed product line launched across digital and print advertising platforms, supporting SKU visibility. The family included a flat iron, hair dryer, and curling iron. Color selection drew from infrared light patterns. The products became top sellers in their category, delivering cutting-edge performance at a cost-effective price point.

Titanium by Gold 'N Hot: Belson Products Professional Titanium Salon line

Scope of Work: Led development of the Titanium Line for Gold N Hot, including a 3/4" flat iron, curling iron, and hair dryer. Directed product positioning, packaging design, and integrated marketing strategies centered on accessibility and performance. Strategically balanced affordable pricing with premium titanium technology and quality materials, ensuring broad consumer appeal across all hair types and styling needs. Marketing included print and digital materials distributed throughout professional salon magazines and various online beauty advertising.
